Welcome everyone to the NEW Scrap and Sew Blog. Are you ready to be inspired?  Our goal is to share with you our knowledge and expertise featuring the Pfaff And Husqvarna Viking line of sewing and embroidery machines as well as everything creative.

 We are a Pfaff and Viking dealer located in quaint Northpoint Village in Lutz, FL, not far from the Suncoast Parkway.  It is an easy trip to travel to the store from north and south of Tampa, FL.

There is limited parking in the front of the store but plenty around to the back.  You will not have a problem finding our door from the parking lot.


Lori Hoenemeyer , our new owner has done an amazing job redecorating the store.  Her first 'reno' was to install brand new carpeting and vinyl flooring.  When you walk in the front door, you will find yourself a short distance from the Pfaff and Viking machines along with plenty of inspiration.


She has rearranged the store so the classroom is now in the back with brightly colored chairs and new tables.


And she thought way ahead and added a 'man's chair' in the front to keep your man happy while you shop!



New fabric is arriving daily and I will be featuring it in a later post.  We are currently planning our schedule for fall classes and you will find a variety of classes to include embroidery clubs, bags, quilts and Premier+ software classes.  I hope you will come visit us soon and check out our new look.

Say Hello to August!

As the summer comes to an end and school starts up again, it should feel like fall, but not here in Florida!  My next workshop is reminiscent of our memories of summer with trips to the beach. The layouts will feature the Country Woods paper pack along with the Seaside Wishes stamp set and dies.   I will mix in the Cape Cod scrapbooking stamp set from Close to My Heart because it matches so well with the theme. Day 12 of Christmas Stitching

Day 12 - A quick and easy gift idea is this napkin holder made from an 'in the hoop' quilt block. This is the Diva class for December and the class for Saturday has been changed to December 22nd.  So there is still time to sign up and finish it before Christmas. This napkin holder starts as a basic 8" block found in the Quilt selection of my icon.  I then added the Star #4 design from the Holiday selection of the machine.  I rotated it and centered it within the block. I love all of the selections in the Holiday category of the icon. You have already seen a number of them stitched up in previous posts these twelve days. I had a small class this morning but both of them finished their project and I even had time to take a picture. Welcome to mySewnet!

Congratulations on you new machine!  Even if you have owned it for a few years (like me) you have the internal software of a new machine!  The Epic 2 is new to the market but the Epic, Pfaff Creative icon and Viking Designer Embrillance 80 all have been updated in the last few weeks! The Pfaff update was released on April 6, 2020 while the Viking updates were at the end of February. The updates included: a. The ability to read .evp3- format of the mySewnet Library designs.  (This is huge and I am SEW excited!) b.  Support for the Pfaff Design Placement in the Sew Notice app.  Did you watch the FB live event? c.  Support for the NEW creative grand quilter's 260mm x 260mm hoop.
