Expand your Embroidery repertorie with the Creative Ribbon Attachment

I am always looking for ideas to 'jazz' up my designs and when this attachment was released on the Epic 2, I was alittle bummed.

But then I was super excited when my Creative icon machine was updated to include this attachment and the multi function foot control.  Today Karen Charles will be featuring this attachment in a Facebook live event.

So I thought alittle 'fashion show' was due for the samples we have at the store.  Cindy and I have made all of them but we hope you will share with us some of your own designs.

You can find our first projects at this blog link here This morning when I runed on my machine, I had mail! This little gem was shared by the Pfaff group and now all I need is some ribbon!

A quick project made by Cindy using the Platinum level of the new mysewnet embroidery software.  I will do another post featuring this software in another blog post. #mysewnet

Here are the two lions ( now famous samples) made by Cindy.  Aren't they gorgeous?!

Here is a prototype for a "Gender Reveal" party. And you knwo that llamas are so popular right now.

A quick little tee made for her granddaughter is an easy practice for a begninner.

Another quick practice was this Joy wallhanging which combines embroidery with ribbon embroidery.

You  can add pizzazz to your home decor with ribbon embroidery as well.  Just don't let the cat or dog near it!

Remember this attachment fits only on the Pfaff icon and Epic and Epic 2 machines.  Cindy and I both have some ideas 'percolating' in our heads as I write this.  So be sure and come back for a 'fashion show' update.

Say Hello to August!

As the summer comes to an end and school starts up again, it should feel like fall, but not here in Florida!  My next workshop is reminiscent of our memories of summer with trips to the beach. The layouts will feature the Country Woods paper pack along with the Seaside Wishes stamp set and dies.   I will mix in the Cape Cod scrapbooking stamp set from Close to My Heart because it matches so well with the theme. Sun and fun activities are the themes of the August layouts, and the grandchildren had a great time at both St. Augustine and Clearwater beaches. Day 12 of Christmas Stitching

Day 12 - A quick and easy gift idea is this napkin holder made from an 'in the hoop' quilt block. This is the Diva class for December and the class for Saturday has been changed to December 22nd.  So there is still time to sign up and finish it before Christmas. This napkin holder starts as a basic 8" block found in the Quilt selection of my icon.  I then added the Star #4 design from the Holiday selection of the machine.  I rotated it and centered it within the block. I love all of the selections in the Holiday category of the icon. You have already seen a number of them stitched up in previous posts these twelve days. I had a small class this morning but both of them finished their project and I even had time to take a picture. Jennifer G used a new gold metallic fabric as the  center design along with the flower B94 on the Epic. This size fits a package of store bought napkins perfectly. Ondrea D design is a combination of Basic Grey fa...

Welcome to mySewnet!

Congratulations on you new machine!  Even if you have owned it for a few years (like me) you have the internal software of a new machine!  The Epic 2 is new to the market but the Epic, Pfaff Creative icon and Viking Designer Embrillance 80 all have been updated in the last few weeks! The Pfaff update was released on April 6, 2020 while the Viking updates were at the end of February. The updates included: a. The ability to read .evp3- format of the mySewnet Library designs.  (This is huge and I am SEW excited!) b.  Support for the Pfaff Design Placement in the Sew Notice app.  Did you watch the FB live event? c.  Support for the NEW creative grand quilter's 260mm x 260mm hoop. If you need help with the update, please reach out to your dealer or you can leave a comment below and I will help you out. Today's topic will be how to get connected to mySewnet.  Once you are connected you will discover the excitement and ease of embroidery wi...
