Lake Life is a Winner!

 Sadly, the last Close to My Heart paper pack is done and ready for class on Saturday, July 20th.  Gather your vacation photos as this paper pack is perfect for any scenes with water.

Lake Life #1 layout is all about a trip last fall to Mount Dora.  My son participated in a bike race, and they did some 'sightseeing' on the second day.  My grandson Luke's strange photos are from the 'vblog' post he was making.  Not sure if he ever posted it, though.


Lake Life layout #2 features my niece and her family on an annual trip to Lake Chautauqua.  

Even though it was an overcast day, it sure looked like Emmy had fun! Any day is a good day for eating pizza!



Lake Life #3 is the last layout of the paper pack and are a few more pictures of my son's trip to Mount Dora.  They looked like they had a exciting weekend!

The layouts are designed by Close to My Heart and include the directions to complete them.  No extra supplies or inks needed just the regular scrappin supplies.

Don't forget to bring your June Paper Pumpkin kit so we can complete this layout or the cards.  Remember each month it is your choice!


Here are my alternatives for the Paper Pumpkin kit this month. I am working hard to get in the swing of this new venture, so bear with me.  Although I do feel like a 'bear' is chasing me.

Day 12 of Christmas Stitching

Day 12 - A quick and easy gift idea is this napkin holder made from an 'in the hoop' quilt block. This is the Diva class for December and the class for Saturday has been changed to December 22nd.  So there is still time to sign up and finish it before Christmas. This napkin holder starts as a basic 8" block found in the Quilt selection of my icon.  I then added the Star #4 design from the Holiday selection of the machine.  I rotated it and centered it within the block. I love all of the selections in the Holiday category of the icon. You have already seen a number of them stitched up in previous posts these twelve days. I had a small class this morning but both of them finished their project and I even had time to take a picture. Congratulations on you new machine!  Even if you have owned it for a few years (like me) you have the internal software of a new machine!  The Epic 2 is new to the market but the Epic, Pfaff Creative icon and Viking Designer Embrillance 80 all have been updated in the last few weeks!
