'Bling' it on!

I love bling and I add it to my projects as much as I possibly can! Making your own embroidered jewelry is one way that you can update your wardrobe and add a personal touch.

 I love the 'mysewnet blog' ideas on my icon machine. I look forward to the mail when I turn on my machine.  Over the last year, they have shared several of the jewelry projects on the blog.  I love the fact that all I have to do is touch the link and it downloads to my files on my machine.
A set of earrings to embroider.


A design that can be earrings or a hair decoration.


I love this coordinated necklace and earring design.
I made this set to celebrate this holiday of love. I hooped Wet n Gone stabilizer in the hoop and used red, pink and purple polyester threads in both the top and bobbin.  After they were rinsed and dried, I then added hot fox crystals for the bling.


You can find a link for the jewelry designs download here on the Husqvarna Viking site for those of you who do not have the icon or the Epic.  The bracelet file and earrings are both included as well as some single parts of the design.  You will definitely sparkle on Valentine's day with this jewelry set.

  Sadly, the last Close to My Heart paper pack is done and ready for class on Saturday, July 20th.  Gather your vacation photos as this paper pack is perfect for any scenes with water. Lake Life #1 layout is all about a trip last fall to Mount Dora.  My son participated in a bike race, and they did some 'sightseeing' on the second day.  My grandson Luke's strange photos are from the 'vblog' post he was making.  Not sure if he ever posted it, though. Lake Life layout #2 features my niece and her family on an annual trip to Lake Chautauqua.   Even though it was an overcast day, it sure looked like Emmy had fun! Take to the Sky is a winner!

This paper pack was the featured one for my first scrapbooking get together in June.  Covid put an end to the monthly gathering, and we are so excited to be together again. This paper pack has a vintage feel with the airplanes, map and clouds design.  but the other side of the paper has a masculine design and colors great for both cards and layouts. The coordinating stamps and dies include phrases which are prefect for birthdays, Father's Day and traveling. The Industrial Trinkets add just the right accent to both layouts and cards My first share today is this layout I made which features the clouds, airplanes, tags and some twine. There are so many ways to use this design. How would you use it?
